Ray Of Light
by Jerry Cunningham

From heaven above the light shines upon me. It brings warmth thru this sinners cold frame. Though I strive to be perfect. The road to the light has its obstacles. When I falter, You forgive me. When I pray You listen. I feel Your light grow stronger with each passing day. All I can hope for is Your reward. Come judgement day please remember me. For life with You Lord is everlasting.

Jerry Cunningham is an operations manager for a large trucking company. He has been writing poetry for about 4 months. "The poem is based upon faith. No matter what obstacles in life cross our path, prayer and Jesus are by our side."
