Reconfiguration
by Tolu Ogunlesi

i watch my blob of saliva caught in the fangs of rushing water rushing down the steps to where oblivion reigns like a digestive enzyme some steps now lead nowhere. they once promised a lot and delivered, until a reconfiguration of architecture. like lives unable to convince you of their destination.

Tolu Ogunlesi is a graduate of pharmacy from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He writes poetry and short fiction, and hopes to one day save enough courage to try his hands at a novel. He is the author of a collection of poetry, Listen To The Geckos Singing From a Balcony, Jacobyte Books, Australia, Oct 2003.
