Just a Thought
by Sean Richard Deardorff

Hold it up.
Halt this lurking landslide to inactivity.
Cease the perplexing banality of perpetuating
personal ponderance among stubborn stones of
independence.
Listen and give it up.
Love to laugh it up in a chaotic cloud of
dusty thought brought on by a tormenting lot
of innocent gods.
We are all on top, whistling our mood in a
melodic melting pot of personal experience,
dancing through the wickedness in a way we
all believe to be the best route.
If we silently drive out of misery's mine, we
shall find the golden life outside the
confines of what we thought.
The best will be better and the rest will try
their times on their own watch, free from any
preaching direction or forceful concession,
and, in the end, we'll all be fine.

In his own words: "Aside from writing for love and sanity, I write in hopes that my message, if it is heard, is clearly conveyed. Though I hope the general idea gets across accurately while holding the listener's/reader's attention, I also hope it lends enough freedom for them to apply it to their own experiences."
