Outer Space
by Eric Miller
I’m out of place,
Outer Space,
Interstellar,
Cosmic,
Universal,
Multifaceted
on this planet live
What I have to give?
Acts of magic lift
the tragic,
Mathematic,
Pseudo-rational,
Irrational.
forget that though
Increase my afterglow
The Truth?
ask your soul
about everything that NASA knows
and holds
but, They can’t hold me
God done told me
I’m a celestial being
unfolding,
holding the Ark
inside my heart
Divine minds design art
the seas part
but, that’s just a start
A new beginning
moving past the sinning
to a new garden
flow liquid
never let your soul harden
Dense
Tense
Stress
Violence
Just a test
I see through
with the sixth sense
Destiny manifest
The Essence
The Presence
The Quest
in the present
Time
Bliss
Open up your eye lids
Truth finding is an act of faith,
so while your acting fake...
I pray the lord my soul to take
To a high place
To a high place
To a high place
like Outer Space
I'm out of place,
outerspace,
interstellar,
never had enough to be called a Rockafeller
and never wanted to
all I hold is the truth
more than gold and jewels
What you own ends up owning you
holding you
holding you
down
earthbound
hear the sound
rumble from the underground
amidst a world of rubble found
just a trinket
to get you thinking
on a mothership sinking
into an abyss of chaos
I look around and see that they're lost
blind leading the blind
to a global holocaust
and what's the cost
of losing the priceless
humanity is in a crisis
and all we needed was a little kindness
eyes to the skies you might find us
on vacation in spacestations
for planetary relocation
they say on Mars there's a giant face and
I read its mind and it states:
"Humankind is a divine race,
so carefully decide,
for you create your own fate
in Outer Space."
I'm out of place,
Outer Space,
individual,
standing on the pinnacle
watching the invisible
expand man in a cyclical plan
Ashes to Ashes
through passages
to rise again
stars like grains of sand
in your hand
forget defending the homeland
Ascending as a whole man
into heaven's gate open
one soul lifts
just another drop in the ocean
of Outer Space
