Reality In Fantasy
by Mahima Chaudhary

I seek the truth..
In that hypothetical ..almost unknown sense
Had that been the way
Eyes would have replaced the stars..
The seed of glorification planted right inside the soul
That not is being the case,
The soul withered..
Barren of living in today's falsehood

That fantasy alone is my ultimate truth
For who can survive staring in despair's lethal eyes?
Clinging to the sweet glimpses that I catch in my insights..
Am seeking the truth. . .
Which will lead me to myself

About my approach to poetry: Sometimes the ideals I have for life, and the way I think it should be lived are very hard to express in everyday life. Any thoughts, interpretations and feelings for even small things seem inadequate or impossible to form into words which others might understand as they are meant to be understood. They are all words trying to form a legitimate reason to assure myself that life is more than everyday politics and the moments of happiness have a right to be lived without any pretense.
