Savory Slavery
by Azhar Muhammad Usman

Every creature is enslaved.
To someone or another.
With hopeful prayers to be saved,
Bow to Him and no other.
Then fly on high and be free.

Like a bird that loves to see,
God's righteous slaves on the ground.
Come taste the faith's liberty,
Break soul's chains that keep you down.
Then ascend the stairway up.

But connections you must cut.
Leave the comforts you've received.
Enjoy not life's daily rut.
And be not by him deceived.
Lucifer's best friend is you.
