for the safety of others
by Nathan Raymond Orton

if you get the chance say good night to all those who have ever tucked you in if you get the chance call back all the people you've ever wanted to talk to don't wait for the day to come when you realize everything has left you behind if you get the chance cry for all those who you have lost if you get the chance reveal all your secrets before your hearts imprisoned don't wait forever to be your answer to silence god knows i've waited long enough my dues are about to be paid and i don't know why i didn't see this all before if you get the chance don't say you never knew it was coming
